  • We are seeking mature candidates who will be responsible for a variety of tasks that are crucial to the maintenance of our school’s facilities. Responsible for Grounds Maintenance including lawn care, haying, mowing and other tasks as necessary. Knowledge of farm equipment helpful. Moderate lifting (50lbs.) required. This is an entry level position. You will be an important contributor in the Facilities Maintenance Department.
    Duties and responsibilities:
  • Communicate well with others
  • Wear appropriate safety related items, i.e., ear plugs, goggles, etc. when project requires them
  • Complete all required training and professional development sessions sponsored through TLC
  • Attend the workplace regularly, report to work punctually and follow a work schedule to keep up with the demands of the worksite
  • Complete any other assigned tasks or projects related to facilities services.
  • Schedule: April-November; Monday through Friday, 8:00am-4:00pm
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check and comprehensive drug screening.
  • We are looking to hire a dedicated and enthusiastic therapist who specializes in speech and language skill development for students and young adults. This position will be part of a multidisciplinary team of educators, therapists, and administrators that delivers highly personalized academic, independent living, and social skill services to a K-12 and transition young adult population.
  • The ideal candidate will provide instruction, coaching and counseling in applied structured and less structured settings.
  • Relevant licenses and/or certifications required. Must be able to pass a comprehensive drug screen. DCF, CT Protective Services, and FBI Background checks are required.
  • The candidate should have a Master’s Degree in speech and language pathology, communication disorders, special education with a focus on language development, or related field.

  • Behavior management with integrated services are provided to children and adolescents with ADHD, Asperger’s, LD, and Mood and Anxiety Disorders. Cognitive-Behavioral orientation and experience a plus.
